    Bland food?

    Nothing bland about Oatbran Porridge.

Always served with a pinch of salt.

Take one cup of oatbran to two cups of water.

Bring it to the boil in a saucepan over a high heat stirring all the time.

When it starts to boil turn down the heat and simmer for a few minutes continually stirring.  When the mixture achieves a nice creamy consistency remove from the pan and serve.

    Add salt to taste.

    mmmmmm

It doesn't taste too great either...

It's a key part of my daily diet now though and is probably the biggest reason I've managed to keep most of the 40lb I lost off.

It's almost purely fibre and nothing else so it keeps one regular and a bowl of that for Breakfast and I rarely want anything else to eat until the evening, when I'll generally have my main meal.

It's natures very own gastric band.

I don't think the listeners could stomach that.
