My band from high school - today!

Or actually, it was last october... or September or whatever.

Don't remember if I've posted this before.

It's my old high school band anyway, reunited to play on this aniversary thing. People in audience were these cultural people with suits and grey hair and such. Really awkward! So it was very weird pulling out our adolecent attempt to play hard core punk rock about beer, women and skateboarding as adults.

Disclaimer: It sounds terrible! The guitarplayer to the left never could play and hadn't played guitar since our last rehearsal 15 years ago - and hadn't changed his strings since then either. The other guitarist hadn't been in a band since we threw in the towel 15 years ago but have been playing at home. The drummer is actually a very good singer, played drums in this band and hadn't played drums at all for 15 years. The handsome fella at the front have been playing a lot of bass and quite a bit of vocals as well, but not at the same time for about 10 years. But I think we pulled it off despite only 3 or 4 rehearsals before this. Oh, and that second song, the lyrics were written on the last rehearsal.

Disclaimer2: I didn't know there were pyro on the stage and I nearly had a heart attack when the first blast came which kind of killed my concentration

Anyway, enjoy. Or not... the kids at that show seemed to dig it at least ha ha!

BTW, I'm the guy in the red t-shirt... and I've lost some weight since this

Oh, and it contains a lot of swearing... sorry about that but at least you're warned

I've been in some awkward situations too with my bands..... at least they clapped at the end of the song.

It's really awkward when they just set there and stare.... or walk out.

It looked like you were having fun...... that's what counts.

He he, thanks guys! Yeah, we had fun! and the claping made us play another gig December last year and we have two gigs lined up next weekend and the weekend after that. So it looks like we'll stick around for a while

And we've been in more awkward situations than this. I remember once we were playing at some youth centre and towards the end of the gig - which were really, really bad - there were pretty much just the people working there, siting on the floor and watching. So we asked where everyone went and they told us they had closed 20 minutes ago and threw everyone out. I mean, thanks for supplying this info to the band on stage!!

    Thanks for watching
