    Are you proclaiming this?    Do you prefer The Proclaimers' version to the Steve Erle version?

    I learned about the Proclaimers from the movie the Commitments.

    Then I fell in love with "My Old Friend the Blues" off the Proclaimers album.


    Then I learned it was written by Steve Earl.

    The process took a decade or more. :-)

    I loved The Commitments.  I haven't seen it in such a long time, though.  I'd better fix that.

    My wife is a proclamiers fan. And, we have the Commitments on DVD, always worth dragging out and watching at least once a year!.
