My first posting here. 'My Heart Said No'

Originally started this song in Project 5, then moved it Sonar to add vocals & re-orchestrated.
Those versions were never finished and lost in a variety of system & hardware failures.
Recently resurrected the original Sonar version of the tracks, added a part and changed some of the instrumentation.

Wasn't originally intended to be an instrument but it's cool as an instrumental.

Hope you like it.

cool tune. had that retro synth sound to it.

Mix sounded good to me.  Not especially my style of music but I still enjoyed the listen.

nice one, that's right. but...now that I know that there were some vocals on it, I am curious to hear this with voices! Any chance to get the vocal version, too?

Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback.

Speedtom - The vocal version was a work in progress at the point when my desktop pc's powersupply fried and took out 2 of my drives, one of them contained all my current audio projects. When I discovered that my backup copy's bundle file was corrupt and that I had lost all that work I just had to walk away from it for a while.  A couple of months ago I took the MIDI tracks that I had previously exported from the original Project5 instrumental and rebuilt the project in again Sonar trying to match the surviving mix I had. A couple of weeks ago I updated the project (added a part, changed some of the synth patches, etc) and remixed it.
    Probably way to much info...

Maybe after the after the holidays, I'll try recreating the vocal version again.

Nice mix, nifty synth sounds, and a playful little ditty that would work well as a soundtrack to a kids' video game or TV show.  Well done!

Nice synth sounds and textures and holds your interest. This maybe a bit to long for this type of piece, but that's your choice. Welcome to the forum and keep the sounds coming. Nice mix.
