My new favourite song
'Summer Now' by Tin Spirits (feat Dave Gregory from XTC) Great 'Purdie Shuffle' groove, and a beautiful guitar solo from Dave Gregory. (my good friend Tim Wilkinson designed the new 'Scorch' album cover, as well as the cover for their debut 'Wired To Earth') http://tinspirits.co.uk/

Sounds great - maybe a bit too long for my taste, but he did have that bendy guitar to deal with which must take longer than playing a regular one. ;) What's the deal with the warning about sharing ?

Dunno..it's 'unlisted' on YouTube, I got to it via the website.

Sounds nice. Not a single 808 sample, pumping supersaw or autotuned yodel in it.

That's nice mate, and it does actually 'feel' like a summer song. However, prepare yourself in advance for Pedro to explain, in considerable and lengthy detail: - How much better the 729.827 bootleg versions he owns of the song are.
- How much better a job he would have made as director of the video.
- How much better a job of designing the cover Storm Thorgerson would have made than Tim.
- How CraigB/Bapu/Straummy (delete as applicable) would have been unable to appreciate the song or ever be likely to write or play anything like it.
And * I suppose the only way to one-up on him after an onslaught like that would be to bring the whole thread together by telling him that you, or someone you know, had once effected some kind of temporary rig-sharing transaction with Andy Partridge out of of XTC Anywho, here's a summery HDR image to complement this thread, taken on the shores of Windemere at Lakeside/Ambleside. Wittily renamed FELLS LIKE SUMMER: * I remembered

Is that one of those Alimpdic basses he's playing? I feel like sitting calmly on a tree swing with an adult beverage while listening to this. I'm beginning to think that Pedro was just an added plugin for the older forum software and, after the upgrade, they didn't renew the license.
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

Nope. It's an imposter.
