Nice mix, everything has its own space. Really like the kick and bass definition and how they work well together. Very nice lead work and tone. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the opening guitar tone. Keep Rock'in Kev.

Great stuff. Wish I could play like that. I'm going deaf, or at least my Doc tells me that because he wants to sell me $6000 hearing aids. But because of that my only comment besides Great Job would be what did you use for the Drums and I would have tweaked them up a few pubes for my liking but that's why I'm probably going deaf. Enoyed it... joe..

It's been awhile since you posted anything..... good to hear you back again. Nice tone. Excellent picking. There was something that almost felt off with the drums in a few places...... an awkward sort of hesitation in a few places. The tone on the first guitar didn't bother me as much as the extreme right panning. It stayed that way through out.... and it also had a few awkward sounding timing issues to my ears. I like the song.

Great mix on this Mark. Love where that rhythm sets in the mix. Cool licks and cool harmonies. The bridge/ending guitar and percussion is very cool. One of your best I think. Daryl

Grand stuff Mark, really like this one. I'd like to see a vid of this please! Love to check out some of those licks, like that beautiful little harmony thing at 1:05. Some very lyrical phrasing in here, cool shredding too. That spacey breakdown was a surprise, works really well though.

As the others have said, nice guitar work. The mix sounds good on my speakers. The song itself was a nice guitar solo, and it ended on a nice riff, but other than that, there were no surprises. I just think when doing rock instrumentals it takes a little extra to capture the imagination because guitar solos are a dime a dozen. Nevertheless, you have the chops to do something really interesting. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your stuff.

PGShadow - Thanks for the comments. Vettetech - Thanks. The drums are "Drums on Demand" loops. They probably could come up a bit. That's one of the things I go back and forth on when I mix. Philz - Hey Phil. How you doing? Glad you like it. Guitarhacker - Hey Herb. Yeah I don't get here much anymore. I think some of the timing issues are the drum fills I put in after the recording was set. One of the problems with loops. You're stuck with what they offer. darylcrowley - Hey Daryl. Thanks for the comments. I've been kinda woodshedding lately and really practicing a bunch. This jam came about from my practice sessions. I'm proud of the mix, especially the drum/bass relationship. james1213 - James, how you doing? Thanks for the comments. I don't know if I've got any vids in my near future. Been so damn busy. The ending came out of not knowing how to bridge or finish the song. I was going to do a slow chimey part and then get back to the melody for a finale. But I had kind of beaten the melody to death by then and decided to just zone out with the floaty thing. Bob Oister - Hey Bob, great to see you. Thanks for the comment on my fluidity. I've been working very hard lately on just that and it looks like it paid off if you noticed.

hey Mark great sounding song here - the lead is nicely balanced as against the backing track. drums could be a hair louder but no bigger. some nice lead riffs here, love the hook. this might be my favourite of yours yet, it just flows nicely. like the ending too, though i would have flung a bass solo in there!

Pretty tasty stuff here my friend. Nice clean mix, with all the components working nicely together. Interesting percussion on that little breakdown section at the end. The chimes are an excellent touch. Glad to hear you back with some new stuff. Randy

Hi Mark, Great playing! I love the lead. Drums are done well too. You use speed melodically and not just for show which I appreciate very much. The percussion break is nice. Maybe the song starts with the bells and a bit of that section, then goes into the main body, and then ends with it? Super job. Rimshot

Thanks Mark. I agree, drums should come up a bit. Thanks Randy. I was wondering if anyone was going to comment on the chimes. I think they fit nicely. Rimshot- thanks. That might be a good idea about starting the song sith some of the outro. I'll have a look at that. Thanks. John, thanks for the comments. I think the clicks are from soundclick. Wav file is very clean.
