My piano waveform has disappeared, but it still plays. [SOLVED]

Pushed or shoved something, and now my piano waveform has disappeared from its track, though, thankfully, it still plays. Last thing I did to the track was add volume automation, and it was only some time later I noticed the waveform had disappeared.
 
I have since done several closes and restarts of the file, hoping the waveform would reappear, but, no appearance.
Can somebody suggest what may have happened to cause this state of affairs.

    Is the Edit Filter on the track set to Clips?

    Hi. Have you tried to right click on the clip, choose associated audio files, and click recompute. If it does not help, you could try to clear the picture cache. Hope it helps.
