My soundcard levels are ok but GT Pro are not

My soundcard levels are ok but GT Pro are not

When I plug in my mic through a Behringer pre amp the levels on the EMU 0404 sound card are all ok but when I press record on Guitar Tracks Pro 2 there is no signal.

Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Computer is:

2Ghz

512 Ram

Using:

Audio Technica condensor mic

Behringer Tube Ultragain MIC200

    It sounds like you are not assigning the proper input to the track in Cakewalk.

    Right below the track's name (default is track 1, track 2 etc..) you can click on the input and select the one you are using for the track. It'll be a drop down list usually with the name of your soundcard in it.

    Don't forget that you also have to arm the track in order for it to register imput. Click the little R for arming the track.

    And, yes, on each track you have the option of choosing your imput device.
