My volume line disconnected form the volume control

My volume line disconnected form the volume control

My volume automation line is not activated. How do I get it activated and back in synch with the volume contol (by the gain). my automation line does nothing and my volume control just sits at zero uinless I change it from there

    Not sure why that happened, but you might be able to fix it by right-clicking on the volume envelope and choosing Assign Envelope and then choose the Volume parameter if it's available. If not, choose something else and then try to assign it back to Volume again.

    Nope, that did not work. Is it possible that if I copied this track with the automation to another track that this could have caused the disconnect. The line does nothing even when I assign it to "pan". and I have three separate tracks doing this.
