Based on what Noel has said in the last few days... What do you think is coming?
I start first: A chord track.

Offline activation and an integrated social portal to the new Cakelab forum.

That would be a great addition.

I don't care about "offline activation" due I am permanently connected to the internet but for some users is a must feature and, if the Bandlab team are listening to the community, I'm sure that this is going to be possible in the future. The same is applied to the very requested "roll-back" system for the monthly updates.

Some kind of MIDI note voice-cycle split feature so you can record polyphonic music with monophonic synths?

Chord track is limited in how it works. They have it PreSonus but I was never able to drop in chords and get it working like some of the video showing how it works. It very limited in what it can do. A start perhaps in 5 or 6 years time it should be better?

Talking of indicators, having the offset mode icon flash to make it more obvious it's on would be useful, as would some sort of indicator on a track to show that it has an offset... maybe something like this:

It would be cool if the midi notes and GUI keyboard would have a bit more interactivity in the PRV. Maybe color the keys according to the selected midi note color? You could light up chord shapes when using the scrub tool, etc.
I wish I could exchange the effects enable switches with the pre/post switches to see on -off status at a glance- or at least un-hide the enable switches. The default arraignment seems pretty goofy to me.

Great idea on the offset status indicator.

I thought there was a mermer about a more user controlled graphics arraingment a short while ago.

A comprehensive routing diagram would be awesome....  one where you can interactively modify your routing...

Ok, that might be asking for a bit much so I would settle for multiple MIDI sends that work the same for Audio sends, but can send MIDI data to multiple destinations.

Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
CPU: i5 4670.
Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

Internet always on.

The mouse cursor should have an overlayed R on it when ripple editing is engaged. No blinky or lit lights but a non-obtrusive (pretty much) constant reminder that you won't miss.

On the face of it, that sounds like an excellent method, 10 out of 10 from me, but I have no idea about the complexities of such a thing, or whether it's difficulty in implementing would be prohibitive compared to  "blinky or lit lights' but you win the prize today.

In-app advertising.

Seriously, some people in this thread have mentioned some good features, especially popular seem to be those involving better indication that an option/modifier is engaged such as ripple editing and offset. I miss the old days of hardware where a light would come on or flash to indicate such a thing. Software UX design seems to have forgotten those basic things. Slow, pulsing indicators that aren't annoying or distracting, but constantly remind you of state. I hope the bakers pick up on that.

Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.
