NBC had a Sandy Benefit tonight, "Performances were good."

Mary J Blige rocked, Springsteen Rocked, Bon Jovi has lost his voice, but I appreciate his efforts!

Just fyi, if you donated via text, it took near 45 minutes to get the confirmation.  I'm sure lines are jammed!   I grew up in that area, and was down in Atlantic City and the Jersey Shore yearly...  I also went to college right outside of Boston, and I spent my summers in the Upstate NY ( Tri County Area. )

I've been working a bit lately, and I am grateful for that, but tonight was my first chance to see the devastation on TV.  It was heartbreaking!

Please remember, it is very cold, very cold!  In this part of the USA right now.  That's why I knew, "hey, I can just text the RedCross, and give what I can to help."  So hopefully a lot of people are doing it, cause a little bit from all of us = a lot.

Cheers

Sounds good.  Thanks for the heads-up.  It won't play here until 8pm.  Besides, I already made my contribution via the Bapu Sandy relief fund.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot--hey, who the hell are you guys?
