"N.E.O." electronic soundscape by Morenoise remix with guitar

Hi All, finally got round to make something that fits my alias, nomen est omen, and to figure out what all these buttons do in X-1 . Here's a couple of minutes of noise for you :

Greetings, Rik

Edit: As per multiple request , guitar and backwards guitar added, starts around the two minute mark. Warning, no pretty melody, listen at your own peril ! http://soundcloud.com/rik..eling/n-e-o-with-guitar

Great orchestral pad-ambience, perfect for many a film, documentary, restaurant, etc. ... and a sound-proof car (while driving during the road rage)

This sounds great!! It is ambient no doubt about it, and I mean that in a good way.

Great work on the pads!! Write down those buttons your hitting, if I ever get the x1 I might have to ask for directions.

    Excellent!!!

You might like to try that with some of your picking over, just a little/few but well chosen notes.

Hi Bobby , thanks for listening, glad you liked it.I didn't even know how to call this kind of noise, but ambient seems to be about right .

Hi John and Reece, thanks for listening, do you mean I should ruin this wonderful piece of ambient noise with a melody ?

Hi Rik - Frankly, I don't think you need to touch this at all. It's perfect as it is. Deeply ethereal and verging on Dreamscape with an underlying theme that emerges to the surface at around 3:38. I had been thinking of writing a piece called "Jupiter". Too late, you've done it all ready! I love this piece. More please.

    Best Regards
    Malcolm

Hi Geno , thanks for listening,  it's fun pushing those buttons and listen what happens , kind of like how I play guitar .

Hi Scott, thanks for listening, there's a sci-fi thing going on here I think .

Hi Malcolm, thanks for listening, sorry about that Jupiter thing but it's your own fault, you started this "space race" .

Cool stuff, Rik.  It does have that ethereal, other-worldly kinda' thing going on.  I kept waiting to hear your wonderful guitar playing, but, WTH, it can stand on its own for sure.

    As Reece said er Yes.

I was also thinking of perhaps similar themed ambient with a picked guitar weaving in and out of the atmosphere.

Well, honestly, with a video to watch at the same time, I could sit still more easily to listen to this.  lol.  (although it's so good I can visualize one anyway!)   But at any rate, it's very cool and I can't believe it's the first time you've tried something like this.  It sounds so pro and just right for a sound scape for something.  And actually I think you could do two versions, one with and one without a guitar.  :)  (there's always room for a guitar or piano, right?)  :)

Hi Janet, thanks for listening. You're supposed to sit still ,close your eyes and relax , now you want a video and a guitar version? I should have called this Pandora's box or something like that .

Ha ha.  No, actually it wasn't intended that way.  But it does give me a great idea....lying by the lake just listening to some good music for a few days.  Ah.... :)  We'll see, though. It's got to stop raining first!  :)
