NETBOOK advice

HI
I have a windows 7 (home basic) netbook that I want to use for live playback.
intel Atom, CPU N270 @160GHz (2 CPU's)~1.6GHz
1024 MB ram

It will be simply running 2 tracks: 1 stereo mix and a click to drummer. i'll be using a usb focusrite saffire 6 interface. My question is: what version of cakewalk should I load in order to keep things simple and slick for the netbook? And being windows 7 will it recognise older versions of Cakewalk?  I have sonar x1, Sonar 8.5, Sonar 7, Sonar 5, Sonar 3, and cakewalk pro audio 6 (very old... windows 95)

Any advice would be great. Thanks

I had a similar Netbook (a Samsung) except I had upgraded it to the 2GB max.  I had 8.5.3 installed on it but never really tried much.  What I did try (playback of 4 tracks (guitar, bass, lead and rhythm guitar) worked OK using the built in sound card.  It should also work with a USB interface.
