NEW DR

 Am I missing some samples because I didn'T see hi hat samples only snares,  toms and kicks

    I believe that DP only comes with mentioned drums.

    That is my understanding too.
     
    In the video series that Cakewalk put out, they show replacing cymbals (I think).
     
    Bill Jackson created a nice little utility, with instructions, on how to extract any sample from a soft synth. When you do this, it creates a user menu in DR with your newly extracted samples. 
     
    In the thread he posted the utility in, the one about replacing kicks drums with AD2 samples, there is a discussion on how to grab samples from AD2. Mettelus (sp?) described a very simple way to do it if you just want to quickly grab a sample.
     
    Lastly though, I think someone mentioned that replacing cymbals might be more difficult? Perhaps because of the longer sustain? I thought I read that somewhere.

    Thanks again max I will check it out I tried some hi hat samples I found and it worked great but thanks again
