NI Akoustik & X1b - double notes on playback after record -RESOLVED

Anyone have any ideas as to what may be causing double notes on playback with NI Akoustik ?  Recording is just fine but playback sounds 'double notes'  in an almost tap echo vein.

None of the other VST pianos show this behavior.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
