NI Replika 1.2.2 crashes Sonar - Plugin Rollback Required to 1.2.1!

Can somebody do me a favour?
 
Could somebody open a project with 64 bit NI Replika in Sonar Platinum? Make sure NI service center and CCC are fully up to date first. Event viewer shows MSVCR120.dll error which usually means a reinstall of C++ libraries, however this crash is happening since latest Sonar Platinum. I have tried running Sonar as Administrator/not as Administrator. Windows Update is fully up to date (Windows 8.1).
 
Just wondering if others can repro or not before I attempt to take any further action.

    I'm having the same exact problem with the latest sonar platinum (Everett Update 1 - 21.4.0.30) and replika (v. 1.2.2.748), updated yesterday and verified no further updates just now.  Add replika and instant sonar crash.  Both vst and sonar are x64.
     
    FWIW, the same version of replika works fine in Ableton Live, Studio One, and Bitwig.  Sonar is the only DAW that is crashing.  Sonar seems otherwise stable here.

    I think I did install Replika yesterday, one of them is at fault. My bet is Replika will need rolling back... we shall see... Right now taking the usual precautions first (chkdsk/Dism/Sfc).

    Same here. I was fine till I updated Replika.
     
    I filled out the information on the crash popup when it happened, and it was reported as CWBRN-33547.
     
    After I rebooted, Platinum runs fine. I plan to avoid Replika till this gets fixed.

    NOT A SONAR issue.. Replika 1.2.2 is buggy with Sonar.

    Install of main Replika app.

    Crashing here also with Replika 1.2.2... and the latest update to Everett .
     
    It's happening only in Platinum . No crash in Sonar X3e and others daws (Samplitude pro x2, Reaper 5, ...)

    Yup but only in 1.2.2 not 1.2.1. Hard to tell who's fault it is, but 1.2.2 only came out yesterday, so my money is on NI. Just roll back.

    Thanks for that link.  I was looking everywhere for instructions to downgrade.
     
    I was able to get it working by installing Replika 1.2.1 on top of 1.2.2.  The installer confirmed that I wanted to downgrade and then took care of everything properly.  Problem solved.

    Weird - I didn't read that, I saw:
     
    "This update crashes Sonar mainly on Windows Computers. You will have issues and will need to uninstall this update." 
     
    I love the way they state "certain graphics adapter configurations" - shall we guess? And what are "issues"?

    Rolled back. Thanks for the heads-up...especially when the fix is a bit convoluted.
     
    Even more weird...
     
    All I saw was a whole bunch of lemmings hauling butt, so I thought "woohoo!" and joined the stampede.

    First NI update that I've ever had a problem with, so count me as a converted lemming... I shall probably continue with my lemming ways for the foreseeable future.
     
    I have to say their rollback is pretty nifty (finally worked out how it works), so Jerry's final thought for today is, hey, it's no big deal kids if something goes wrong with a NI update, just roll back (famous last words ).

    Similar reports coming through from ableton users. So NI will probably release an update very soon ;)

    Thanks for the heads up.  The update to 1.2.2 was in my service account so just ignored it. 

    Win 10 Pro x64, 32Gb DDR3 ram, Sonar Platinum, Cubase 9.5, Mackie MCU Pro, Cakewalk VS 100, Roland Octa-Capture,  A 800 Pro, Carver M-1.5t amp & C4000 pre amp, various mics, drums and brass instruments.
     
    And away we go!

    I don't get crashes but I'm having an issue where Replika would slow SONAR down. Also, when I bring up the plugin, it opens with a blank, white interface for a split second before loading up the GUI.

    Not getting crashes? You aren't running Sonar Platinum then (right?) although have not tried F.

    Have you made sure SPlat is up to date?
     
    Latest version is called "Foxboro" and can be downloaded from CCC.
     
    Also, was NI update necessary, - "If you don't have any issues there is no need to install this update"?

    I just updated Replika this morning and it crashes for me, too.



    Didn't the comment on the NI service center say to update only if necessary :-))
    Did the same mistake and rolled back Replika to 1.2.1

    What we are seeing is crashes for Platinum, and unusual behaviour for X3E... So avoid.

    Sure wish NI had a way to hide updates I don't want.

    Not sure which version I have but it's never been stable for me since i first installed it. I think I updated it not long ago hoping it would now work, but it didn't.
