NI's B4ii and Windows 8

I am considering upgrading to Win8 64bit.  Do any of you "old timers" who have NI's B4ii know if it still runs under this new platform?  Don't want to loose my old toys by getting a new one.

It should just about.. although I got a b4 sound pack for kore that they said was a replacement.... the kore pack they charged me for and neglected to tell me/put on their b4-2 advert was FREE in the latest komplete 7... way to go NI , strike 1... and their customer care thought it was "amusing"... the "idiots" (replace with a ruder word)

That Kore pack was in no way a replacement what ever they said!!

I like the current Vintage Organs, even if the extreme distortion is not quite up to it. There is a slight tuning issue on one of the Hammonds, either C3 or the B3 but I can't hear it with the Leslie on, but patches can be retuned. The bug where realtime maipulation drawbars would not change the sound until the next key was pressed was fixed some time ago. The transistor organs are pretty good.

I still use B4 II quite a bit however.

I reckon that B4II is one of the best products that NI have ever released..

I still use it as my main organ sound and it's only x86 plugin - along with Wizooverb - that I use with a wrapper inside Win 7 x64...

Vintage Organs does not have the same "organic" sound (excuse the bad pun) that B4II has and like most people say,the distortion inside Kontakt is funking awful...

When you get B4 cranked up inside a track,it can easily replace an electric guitar because it's got a great vibe and real attitude

Have you tried GSI's VB3. It has the edge on distortion, but its 32 bit and of the same vintage as B4 II.  Unlike B4 II it still on sale but has not been updated for eons so it may not be more future proof.

So have any of you got B4ii working on a Windows 8 machine?  I guess it will still work, but would love to hear from someone using in with Windows 8.

I have a couple of the LinPlug synths that I really like - Albino and Alpha 3 - but Organ 3 got the flick here...

It didn't do it for me and the distortion is just not happening...

Where the distortion in B4II is fat and warm, the distortion in Organ 3 is thin and anemic

I tried the demo a long time back and was not impressed, the emphasis seems to be on new features rather than authentic modeling.
