NOOB to the MAX!

Ok,Ive done "search" to no avail, but why is the 'FX Bin" not available on some track veiw headers and always is on the console? Also I get sound/ playability with my usb attached "M-AUDIO key rig 49" with Tru Pianos/Session Dr.3/studio instruments but when trying Z3TA or other module type synths,I see an interface but NO sound-Nothing?Im sorry for possibly such 'STUPID" questions but these two have stumped me for months,THANKS RK.

    Hmm I now get an FX bin in track veiw if I add a z3ta in the FX bin on "CONSOLE FX Bin" but then the whole project goes silent[previous session drums on track one,where I added the Z3TA]and the whole project only regains sound if I then delete the Z3ta.Honestly such seemingly "simple things like this seen so convoluted.IM sure its user error but I know of nobody using a daw let alone using the same one.Some things are easy and some things you think should be just as easy, are WTF?

    You may have changed your Track control manager settings. 
    Just to the right of the Track view clock is a little dropdown box.  Set it to all.  It may now say something like custom. I/O, Mix or FX.

    Sonar Platinum 64bit, Win 8.1 Pro 64bit,  Quad Core 3.2GHz,  16G ram, Edirol FA 101, Nvidia

    What a clown,I just inserted a Z3ta and SOUND!!!! First time EVER!! no idea why it worked this time and never before......????No need to reply I geuss,will stop wasting sever space now,THANKS ALL,RK.

    Oops! Im THE CLOWN -Nobody else -just in case of confusion.Yes "lorneyb2"I reckon thats the case for sure!For some reason the "Module type Synths" have NEVER worked until after of 3months of frustration,I posted tonight and -'Ta DA',They worked....very odd,anyway the Z3ta is amazing,whats the +2 expansion like? Also the cpu meter[little verticle lines]seems to hardly appear or light up[vertically!] at all! Excellent!Were the "Dual core"[previous generation"] laptops able to get such great performance?  I suspect not due to the "screenshot" of the nameless laptop in the X1 advertisements,having the "little yellow bars" seemingly over half way up the meter?
    would love to see screen shots of other X1 users "meters" running large projects with,details of CPU/computer etc attatched.AS mentioned elsewhere Im running a Dell XPS L502x i7 2630qm[the most bargain basement Quad Mobile CPU]I wonder how much better the "Higher End" models are better/stronger for X1?[i7 2720qm,i7 2820 qm or the i7 2920XM extreme]Cheers All,no doubt Ill be back with more ridiculousness!!!
