I bought one of these as well the other day and I love it. I used both Gamma Goblins and untidymusic.com to get it set up. I then messed around with it a bit more, and I now have it controlling all my console, busses and master. I have also got it to work with all my plug-ins as well.
To set it up with the console I used the generic surface to set up 8 channels with fader, pan and mute solo. I then used the mute/solo buttons on the nanokontrol channel 9 set then to forward/backward "bank", so I can select any channel I want. I also set up the play and stop buttons.
I then opened up ACT and selected Scene 2 on the Nano, set up the rew/fwd buttons to skip forward/back to next marker, and set the loop button to "next group" which then lets you select between channels busses and the master. The only drawback is that cannot get the mute/solo buttons to work on the busses and master.
I then set the channel one mute button to "ACT enable". this way when it is selected I can use the knobs and faders to control my plug-ins. And to get these set up, I opened up a plug-in and the ACT midi controller screen, clicked learn on every rotary and slider, move said rotary and slider so they were linked. Then I opened the plug-in GUI, enabled ACT learn, clicked on all the knobs and sliders, then moved the Nano knobs and sliders in the same order , it then gives you a meesage saying waht you have done and hey presto it works.
So now if I want to change channel gain, mute solo and pan I select scene 1, and use channel 9's mute/solo buttons to scroll through the banks (eight at a time).
Then I can select scene 2 and hit the loop button and scroll through channel, bus and master and control gain and pan.
Then I can bring up a plug-in, hit channel 1's mute button and have control of that.
I hope this makes sense?
