I like that. lots of fun. perhaps stick some verb under it on a post bus and brighten the EQ.

    Kev,

Cool tune, would make an interesting soundtrack.

I think the clarinet sounds pretty good as is.   I agree with Gus, I would create a reverb bus with a bright plate to add some sparkle.   I would HPF the reverb bus at around 600k to keep it clean and clear.  You could also double the clarinet with a different clarinet sample to give it some more character.

Definitely a bit more air and clarity on the clarinet would sweeten it. Nice tune though. I was listening through headphones and the panning seemed a little strange, not sure what was happening there.

What a fun creative number!   It sounds like a soundtrack for a Pink Panther movie where somebody is doing something sneaky and silly.  It all sounds good to me.
    Nice one Kev!!

    Hi !
I tried putting some reverb on it and am happier with the sound but still not 100 % sure lol !!! I've tried also putting a clarinet sample underneath...I think it makes the sound a bit more warmer ??? I've just uploaded the new mix,so please have a listen if you get chance !
    Thanks for your suggestions

Ive been playing around with the EQ on it.Its an improvement I think, but am still considering recording again to capture the highs better (I used a cheap mic, very basic)...my friend has got a decent mic so am thinking about do there.
    The panning is strange,I know !!! Its deliberate,I'm a strange guy :)

    Kev,

The clarinet sounds brighter and more lively than the previous version.  The rest of the mix was already quite good so I think you have it.
