Need Sonar 4 training/tutorial DVD (not DAW software)
Hi all, I'm working with a disabled lady who is on Sonar 4. I've found the material "new" online for $99, which is quite steep. Does anyone have an old copy they'd like to sell for a reasonable price? Thanks, J

Old copies cannot be sold legally. Sonar's license is non-transferable. Sorry, but that's the way it works.

Jonas - are you asking for an old copy of Sonar 4 or are you asking for an old copy of sonar 4 training DVD?

I thought my title was reasonably clear. I am looking for an old copy of a tutorial/instructional DVD for Sonar 4. I am not interested in a copy of Sonar 4.

Hi Beagle, Not a bad question from you. It's hard to convey tone using just written communication. I revised the title, etc. and hopefully I'll be able to track down what I'm looking for. Peace, J

no problem Jonas. sorry I can't help you find one, tho. I DO have a couple of Sonar 4 books. one of them is scott's sonar 4 power and the other is sonar 4 ignite or something like that. the sonar 4 ignite is a lot "simpler" than scott's book and geared a little more toward the beginner, IMO. (no offense to scott, I do have several of his books).

I think the $99 threw me off. I don't think they have a tutorial DVD for that version, however, there are a bunch of free videos on YouTube for some earlier versions of Sonar (6 might be the oldest), but I'm sure some of that information may be helpful. Edit: I saw a few videos for Sonar 4 on YouTube. There were more for 5 and up though. Also Googled Sonar 4 Training and found this website http://apex.vtc.com/cakewalk-sonar-45.php You might be able to find a Sonar 4 Power book by Scott Garrigus new or used if you look hard enough. Not a DVD, but a good way to learn.
