I am fine with option 1. Tweakable from a starting point is cool, too. When you said (Craig) "give 'em a try", are you saying they are accessible, now? Michael

I would prefer Option 3, too. Presets to me = simplicity = more time to make music. Thanks for asking our opinion, Mr. A!

Option 3 would be the most useful for me.

Anderton However, this is also giving me ideas about ways to further this concept. Instead of creating one "universal" pedalboard and tweaking it to create presets, maybe different pedalboards for different applications would be cool...for example, different pedalboards for metal, country, leads, etc. So these would be something you could use with my amp sims, or the amps and cabs from plug-ins like Guitar Rig, AmpliTube, etc. And a "Reset All" button would be nice, too... in case I get too far off base. It would be easier/faster than having to delete it and put it back in.

I totally get the comment about not having to think too hard whilst in the process of creating music. Personally, I want to quickly be able to add a sound that's close to what I have in mind, then just get on with the next part of the song. I almost always come back later and tweak, or change, that sound. I rarely use more than two or so synths per song when writing music; Dimension Pro, Rapture, Z3TA, AD, as well as either True Pianos or Addictive Keys. I try to have a basic working knowledge of the insane amount of presets that are, or I have, installed in these programs. I will find something suitable in a short amount of time so the creative process then has as small an amount of interruption as possible. I have nothing short of admiration, respect and regard for those musicians that put the time and effort into creating presets for synths and plugs.

Hi Craig, I'd opt for a combination of options 1 and 3. Details/description via PDF... and a handful of presets/examples.

Thanks Jim. There will definitely be documentation, if for no other reason than some of the features are not explanatory...like in the Acoustic Piezo amp, there's a button named "Vocal Mode" and people need to know what it does.

You got my attention with that one! I thought "maybe Craig is duct taping a piezo to his neck to record vocals in hotel rooms!?!?!?" LOL Michael

It compresses the guitar only in the vocal range, so the guitar won't "step on" the vocals. But I'm finding it's actually helpful in other contexts as well. Maybe I should label it "Mix Help."

Wasn't going to bother voting because if looks like 3 is most popular...as it is with me.
Just like to add I'm loving the openness that Craig brings to the forum 😊

Can we assume when saved to a track template the settings will be retained? As with the current amp sims, I would like to be able to see/edit the original FX chain to learn and modify. So having a bit of both here would be helpful.

I think I participate in it more than bring it, but certainly, I enjoy the people who frequent this place.
