Need a video to import

I want to import a music video into X1 in order to play around with the video features.  I have a client who has a simple video that he wants to use on YouTube and I want to learn more about the video features of X1 in order to be ready to customize the video he has.

I hope that I am making myself clear.  I just need a "public domain" video to import.

Thanks,

Tom

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
You can "score" to the video in Sonar, but you can't "edit" the video itself; AFAIK.
    Vegas for video editing here.

Shaping the audio portion of the video is all I want to do.  Sorry I wasn't clear about that.

Sonar has zero video editing options but you can happily score or design away to a picture. just make sure you have the correct codecs.

Klite is a good codec package, google it, its free.

In the Cakewalk Content or Tutorial folders there should be a brief vid of some kids skateboarding. At least there is for X2. Take a look at the video tutorial section in the manual and it will tell where to find this clip, how to import it and how to do some basic stuff with it. It is by no means in depth though but there are other entries further on in the manual that explain things more. Cheers.

Oh and if you have a video capable camera or a phone that has one you could just make a vid yourself. It may not upload to your system in a Sonar compatible format though so you'd have to figure out what program your camera uses and see if you can reformat it there or with a third party program. Having to change formats like this is a good thing to learn about anyway because Sonar is somewhat limited in what type of vid files it will accept and there are so many out there on market right now it is a common problem.
