Need advice on Midi keyboard/controller

Hello eveyone,

I need a new Midi keyboard/controller and require your advice/opinions on which route to take since I'm kind of new to software recording and I don't want to purchase features that I won't need. Here's my scenario:
1) I have Sonar Home Studio 4
2) I have Dimension Pro
3) I don't play live
4) I only compose and record for multimedia/tv/film
5) I don't need to be mobile(with my equipment)
6) Price is not an issue
Basically, I would need something easy and flexible that can be set up right away with the least learning curve possible.
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

I'd find something that won't paint you into a corner and has quite a few people using it here in the forums. I suggest that you consider the M-Audio Axioms. They are fairly cheap, the action is tolerable even for a guitarist/bassist and there's quite a few users here in case you upgrade to S6 and want to get into the ACT feature. We can already tell you what not to do.

    Thanks Dave,

I'll check out their website and visit a store tonight to try them out. Thanks!
