Need amp buying advice, thought it over and...

I think the Mokave is too expensive for what it is, though.. I don't doubt that it is a great amp. The Dr. Z Route 66 is about the same thing but without power scaling however, Hall amplification offers a drop in (I think 5 wires to sloder) power scaling mod for 50 bucks... for any amp 50w and under. The 66 is only 1649 at Midtown Music. Then there is Metro, Ceiratone, and Granger. I still want one but I think I will go with th Rt 66, then build one myself. I need to get back to building amps now that I have time. So thanks for at least reading, though no one had anything to say.
Thanks J

Have you noticed the Z in the back of the car in the new Prius TV commercial?

I play a Dr Z Maz 18 with reverb and its a great amp. I say this having hated just about every amp I have ever used. If you are looking at DR Zs that can get a vintage marshally sound its a pretty good option. With the Volume cranked I can get a niceish JTM crunch, with a boost even more so.

I played a route 66 a few weeks back and it was also very nice but I didn't really get a chance to crank it up.
