Need help on X-CLick

Hi All,

I just need some help on using x-click, how it is possible? I have gone through its PDF help file but could not really understand what did it mean by Copy The Track To Another File as a Log. Can you please help me in the steps?

And how do we combine X-Click and X-Crackle together? And which one should be used first?

I'm sure ill get good help from you guys

Thank you

I will try to help you, but please be patient as it may take a couple of days. BUT, I will see what I can come up with.

As for "Copy The Track To Another File as a Log".....

This is telling you to make sure you have a backup or "safety" copy of the track before you apply the plugins just in case you do not like the results. Just highlight the track you want to use the plugins on and copy & paste it to another track.

It really should not matter which plugin you use first as they do different things. You just have to experiement and see which order works best for the track.

Also..... If you post a link to a 30-sec clip. It will make it easier to hear what you are trying to work with and I can use it in helping you get the end result you are looking to acheive.

    Dear daverich,

Waves will ask me to see the Plugin's PDF help file .. i have already gone through it, I know that many sound engineers use X-Click in a mastering process, but I don't know why cant anyone here help me in this matter? are they not aware of this plugin? its from a collection which comes with X-Noise X-Hum X-Click and X-Crackle, i just want to know the steps on how to remove clicks from my master track.

    Please help. tnx alot

well,- i never use X-click, or any waves plugins for that matter.

If you've got clicks then I would use adobe audition's spectral editor to remove them - time consuming but should work well.

    Kind regards
