Need help on info like Volume, Pan and Gain settings...

Some Sonar X1 at the track, there is info like the name of the track, there is a Clips drop down menu. And below this Clips drop down menu, there is info like Volume, Pan and Gain. However, my Sonar X1 Producer don't have info like Volume, Pan and Gain. So, how do I do the settings so that those three information appear?

Thanks.

Click on the 2 down arrows to the far right of the track name.  You can also drag down on the separator between track headers to whatever size you want as well as how wide.  This will give you the view of all the options in the track header.

lorneyb2: Thx. I know what u mean and I did that, but the Volume, Pan and Gain is still not appearing below the Clips drop down menu. Any ideas?

Maybe do I need to update my Sonar X1 to the latest version? I already run update a and b previously.

I think you need to alter your Track View Widget view options from "Custom" to "All". Look for the dropdown list at the top of the TrackView.

As stickman says I think that will solve the problem.  Click on the down arrow just to the right of the Clock/Bar time.  You may have inadvertently hit it and changed something.  If you look at the Track Manager at the bottom of that menu you can see all the various options that are available but the all will likely be the ticket for you.

stickman393: What i did was I go to Views menu --> Track View. And then, I am lost. May I know where is the Track View Widget? The only info I found on google was http://www.cakewalk.com/S...kb/reader.aspx/2003155 but that doesn't help very much. I hope you can guide me step by step as I am a newbie.

lorneyb2: The Clock/Bar time... do you mean it is inside the Sonar X1 Producer, or do you mean it is the Clock/Bar time of Windows? However, I found Track Manager by clicking on the Track menus, and I select Track Manager. All my checkboxes in Track Manager is checked, but I still can't get the result I want. I would appreciate it if you can help me step-by-step.

    Thank you.

cychan, see page 155 in the SONAR X1 Reference guide. The picture on that page shows the video timeline, but also there is a nice view of the Track Control Widget View selector just to the right of the Digital Clock/Time where it says 1:01:000.
