Need help using tuner plug-ins in X2

So, I just noticed that apparently the good old cakewalk tuner is now missing from my plugins list. No big deal I thought, I'll try that Gtune free vst thingy. Doesn't work, nothing comes up. No big deal I thought, must be cause it's 32bit, I'll try the tuner that comes in my guitar rig 4 instead. Doesn't work, nothing comes up. Tried on an audio track instead of a synth track, and tried turning on input echo, still nothing. There's something simple and obvious I'm missing here that makes my sonar refuse to give me tuning information during playback - what is it, fine bunch of lads? Cheers

You do not indicate which version of SONAR you are using (or OS for that matter). X2 includes a version of TH2 which has a tuner. There is a 64bit version of GTune http://www.gvst.co.uk/beta.htm it is not beta anymore, the developer has said he intends to move the package to production but has not made the time. Any tuner should be put on an audio track, the track set to the appropriate mono input and input echo enabled. I have used these and several others without trouble. BTW, if you are using an X series version of SONAR, please post in the forum above.

Oops, right, I'm on X2 producer and windows7 64. I updated my Gtune to the x64 one, thanks for the tip. Still doesn't work, however, and I made sure to test it on an audio track with mono interleave and input echo on. The good news is that the TH2 tuner does work, I had not thought of trying that. Puzzling, but it's a solution. Oh good lord, just realized I'm not even in the right forum, silly me!

Not mono interleave, mono input from your interface. The interleave is a different setting. In any event at least you have got the TH2 tuner working (although they all work the same for me).
