Need some help [Solved]

...or a good advice.
I'm trying to decide wether I need to buy more VIs and sound libraries or just stick with what I already own.
So I've made a quick rough sketch using 4 different romplers.

https://soundcloud.com/s0undwise/4-romplers

Please, help me by sharing your opinions.
Which do you think sounds the best and why?

EDIT:
Solved. I purchased AIR Structure, it's an easy to use sampler with some great sounds.
Sample #1 - Magix Vita instruments
#2 - AIR Structure
#3 - IK SampleTank 3 SE
#4 - Rapture Session

Putting aside that I don't like the bass sound on all three, I would say # 3 is the most transparent sounding mix over all. The other two sound crowded.

IMHO, If you're using them to practice or write with I would stay with what you have. If you want to release to the public then I would expand my library for more control or fine tuning.

P.S. Nice Tele sounds you're makin there Alisa!

I liked #3 the best overall.  The instruments sounded more natural to me ... maybe it's the mix.

NOTE:  Bapu only likes bass in Am

So Alisa,

What libs do you have and what will you be wanting to do (genres etc.) that you are wondering if you're covered.

Thanks for your input, Ed! I own the first and the last and am demoing the second. I'd like to get more feedback before revealing the contenders. As for genres, well, anything except symphonic orchestral music.

Agreed. However, I am not to be taken seriously as this is not an area that I am an expert in terms of technical abilities ... although I do think that "crowded" is a good word, and I might suggest that the bass play something totally away from the main piece, so that it does not sound like it's a horse race to the end of the song?

I would almost suggest that the "crowded" sound is more like ... all instruments are top'd out on the mix, and in some ways, that takes away the personality of the song itself. I would probably spread things out a bit first ... to see how it works, and then make a call on it.

Were it me, I would trust Bapu's thoughts on the matter, before mine, though.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

If it's sampled electronica you're interested in (for Kontakt), I just now put the following list of sound library reviews together for a question somebody asked on KVR.  Might as well get good mileage out of it.

Good stuff, all of it.  Mostly quite reasonably priced as well.

Creativity seems to be inversely proportional to the size of one's sonic inventory.

Just an observation, no hypocrisy intended.

If you're intending to write country.... as it kinda sounds like it might be.... midi isn't the way to go.  However, for many other kinds of music midi, with good sample libraries works well...

But like Bitflipper said, creativity wins the day over fancy and multiple libraries.  You'll find that the better the library and samples, the more it will cost.  People tend to accumulate quite a few low cost libraries as a result.... Kontakt is one of the lower cost "professional quality" libraries.

Regarding the 4 samples you provided..... none of them really hit the mark in my opinion..... but of them all, 3 sounded the most open and natural.

The track above is not a composition or a commercial mix, just a quick test of some libraries. Thanks for your opinions and help, folks!
