Need some help from Session Drummer users.

I'm working (betatesting) for a company (not Toontrack) that is creating a midi drum groove library for Session Drummer.  The question is where is the best place for the installer to create a folder and install the grooves.

There is Session Drummer 2 as well as Session Drummer 3.  Each of those has a Content/Patterns folder.  And there is the x86 and the x64 versions, as well with their folders.  Top it off, SONAR X1's browser opens up to a C:\Cakewalk Content\Midi Library.

Any opinions?

Isn't Session Drummer mapped to General MIDI?

If that's the case I'd keep the MIDI loops on a independent drive and no where near the app or system installs.

    best regards,

Looks like that would be my choice too.  We're running up against a wall getting the installer to install to the folder for the x64 Session Drummer 3.  It always wants to go into the x86 version.  Agggghh.  In my case, it has to be a Win 7 thing.

At least in a generic folder, a user can manually DnD the folder into several versions of Session Drummer if he wishes.
