Need some help with a song I did on Jing

Okay.  So, I recorded a quick version of an A Capella number using Jing and the mic/cam on my computer.  It is saved as a swf file.  I have tried everything I know to get the swf converted over to an mov file, but have failed miserably.  Anyone here got any great tools or tricks?

Well, an swf file is a Flash file (which Apple ignores) and a mov file is, of course, Apple's favorite.  There may be a video converter out there to handle this directly but, if not, you may need to convert to mp4 first and then to mov.  I haven't used a video converter for so long now that I wouldn't want to recommend any, but I'm afraid that very soon we will have unwanted "guests" here posting links to whatever software they're pimping (and they will resurrect this thread for many years to come!  LOL).

I resisted posting any links I found (I did a quick search - heck there was even an online converter), because you never know what OTHER STUFF gets installed with the free converters.  Maybe look for a few reviews from actual users first?

Good point!  There is seldom anything that is really free except for perhaps some legitimate freeware outfits. Many or most have a lot of "crap" filled baggage.

Well, shoot...the software informant had primarily PC resources.  Guess I could try it on my old dusty PC.  I really wanna be able to do this on my MacBookPro, tho.  I'll read over more of the offerings on that link and see what I can find.  Someone from another forum offered my recording these using Google Hang Outs and sending them directly to You Tube.  But, I have one I really like saved as an .swf file and I really want to share it.  Thanks for chiming in...if I get it done, I promise to post it here first;-)
