My guess would be that yes, it should work just fine with SONAR. You'll just have to program your own mappings. Despite all the DAW-integration features at its heart it's just a MIDI controller, and I've never heard of any MIDI controller that wouldn't work with SONAR.

To be safe, I'd buy from a retailer that has a no-hassle return policy, just in case. If you're in the US, Sweetwater stocks them and they're very good about taking stuff back.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Their web site lists only compatibility with Bitwig Studio, Cubase, Nuendo, Logic Pro and Reason. However, there's a separate page on using it with other DAWs. It usually involves partial support and some user mappings per bitflipper's comment, depending on the DAW.

Also it depends on what you mean by "100% compatibility." For example, does this include being able to control ProChannel parameters? I would tend to doubt it.

Of course, you can use ACT to map just about anything to anything but some people find the process daunting.
