That was quick!!

=======================================================

... here's Christmas '77 with the Sex Pistols

Looking back to Christmas 1977 with an irreverent portrait of the times, featuring unseen footage of the Sex Pistols. Never Mind The Baubles director Julien Temple presents a unique insight into the tradition and transgression of Christmas. Featuring interviews and 70s archive, framing the Sex Pistols' last UK concert with Sid Vicious, for the children of striking miners in Huddersfield on Christmas Day 1977.

    I'll make a note of that Steve, along with the M.R. James documentary (presented by Mark Gatiss) and ghost story on Christmas Day evening.

    At their age, do they even have any bullets left for their sex pistols?

    Thanks.  I guess I'll have to wait for it to be on BBC America or DVD.

    It was a hoot!  I loved all the set-up stuff about the glittery disco outfits on Top Of The Pops back then.  I knew some of the "philosophy" about the origins of Punk but the video filled in a lot of detail and made it real.

    Thanks again,
    Steve

    That was great. I wonder if Lydon is actually able to talk 'normally' at all, without all the mugging to camera .
