New 'Full Screen" Feature Problem
I use dual monitors with the TV / Main screen on the left and the MulitDock permanently on the right. When I engage the new "Full Screen" option, the button disappears and there is no way to get it back. F11 will toggle Normal / Full Screen but my dual monitor screen set up does not return. It appears to change my monitors to single mode but the right hand monitor is blank. The only way to get my normal screens back is to shut down and reopen Sonar. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Not life or death but curious.

100 views and this is not happening to anyone else? Must be something I'm doing wrong.

Your not the only one. It doesn't work for me either. I haven't posted about it because I don't have to use it. It's not a feature I need to use. It messes up my dual monitor setup as well..

No you're not alone. I have a similar problem on my dual monitor. I can "reach" beyond my monitor top edge and "find" the border to pull it back down but I just don't use full screen mode because of it.

I just added a second monitor and have used the full screen toggle - didn't notice anything too weird. It did seem like it only went full screen on one monitor. I thought full screen would eliminate the tool bar popping up when I hover low to scroll left or right but the toolbar kept popping up anyway so I just locked it showing - didn't lose too much screen real estate

maybe the monitor needs adjustment/setup to align all graphics within the display area? ( pretty sure one of mine needs that)

Hi Steve. It may have to do with how you have the dual monitors set up. I think in Sonar you can pull the main screen across two monitors or, (as in my case) use two independent screens. For me, there is not enough additional screen real estate gained using the new "Full Screen" function to be worth worrying about. However, I've guessing it's not supposed to work this way.

I'm having an issue with this feature also, can seem to get it back to dual monitor mode without restarting... Don't care much for this feature anyway...

For my wide screen system works with two monitors on different resolutions... monitors using extended mode, not cloned.

I got it all sussed out today.I made the windows taskbar only exist in one monitor. The full screen option only exists on one Sonar window so if I put that in the monitor with the windowas taskbar, even with it in autohide mode, the full screen DOES supress the windows taskbar from opening.

I'll have to check on my Windows 10 computer, but on my Win 7. I use 2 monitors. (MultiDock exclusively on the 2nd). Hitting Full screen only adjusts the Main Screen. The 2nd, MultiDock screen does not change at all. (Honestly, I think it should remove the strip at the top). I do not have any bugs getting out of full screen though of the Main monitor. I can either hit the Full Screen button or Window Full Screen (check + uncheck)

I can't comment on any bugs as I run it with the normal screen size to the monitor window so going full screen (maximized) doesn't gain me much. However, to restore your screen you might try Alt+Space and then r.

full screen display not performing as described here, either works perfectly on my single screen setups, but on the dual screen (using extended mode) where I usually have Sonar maximized on one screen, plugs and utilities on the other, it first comes up with something odd (garbled display) ... when I get out of and back into full screen, display is OK, but not fully full screen (task bar still visible) ...
