New Collaboration: Snowblinded

My friend sent me an instrumental, a Neil young-ish guitar piece, which I improv'd some vocals on and we ended up with this. He's done most of the work on it, including all the mixing, and it's the first thing he's put up online, so I'm hoping to get him some constructive feedback.

Nice song!  Definitely has a classic rock vibe for me, which is a good thing.

Mix-wise there are a few rough edges balance-wise; e.g., the vocals are low during the intro, the drums sound good but seem to get lost from time to time, and the guitar is often a bit loud for my tastes (and I play guitar :-P).   But the foundation is definitely there, it just needs a few tweaks IMHO to be really good.

Thanks for listening Steve. Yes, I know whgat you mean about those balance issues, although it seems much more pronounced listening on line than from the DAW or WAV, I guess due to the compression. Anyway, we'll get on it  and have another go.

Love the piano intro in this...I'm going to make it a tune to catch on my drive. What I heard so far is really nice!
