New Computer broke my Sonar

Hey Guys

I haven't been here in a while. I was able to build a new computer and I can't for the life o' me get Sonar to load. I get splash then immediately get a Sonarplt.exe has stopped working dialog. I dug around here and web and have tried the usual things like uninstall/reinstall, Hold down shift to rebuild prefs, Delete aud.ini, went backwards to another version in command center. I'm assuming that the immediate halt is due to my interface. Tascam 20x20. I have updated to the newest driver and still no launch. I disabled the on board audio in the bios and uninstalled the drivers for that.

I'm all out of ideas. Sucks too because this new computer rocks and I have work to do.

Any one here have a thing like this, or see a conflict?

2 thoughts come to mind, have you tried running the program as admin and if your concerned it might be the interface did you see if it launches with the interface unattached?

Had a Windows update lately?  I have had MS Framework 3.5 twice now on updates.  I go in re dl it and install it and it seems to solve the problem.  Just a thought.

sound like an update. is it onboard graphics or a video card ?

It could be. What is the on board graphics chip and what driver is it running? (check under "Display adapters" in Device Manager). Is this a machine you built?

I'm off to see the Wibble, the wonderful Wibble of Wobble
