New DAW Studio
Saturday we start clearing a room for Sonar. I do have 2 monitors but I'm not sure if I'll use both yet. My wife (formally known as X) is going shopping to get a computer desk. if you guys can posts your studio shots for her to look at it'll give her an idea of what I'm looking for.  . i told her a big ole' lava lamp is just SOP for a studio and it's also a priority

This isn't my actual studio, but I've had this desk for the past 10 years (very sturdy and flexible). It's called the Jerker (go figure) from Ikea. All the shelves (including the main one the keyboard is on) can be adjusted to whatever height you need and the speaker shelves can swivel as well.

We just moved into our new place a few weeks ago. Found a real nice desk on Amazon. Has a glass top, a shelf that is big enough for a small set of monitors, and the keyboard shelf fits my M-Audio KeyStudio. The brick makes the room feel really nice. I used to have the largest house in Troutdale right on the ridge. At least until the Fed decided to do all those illegal things back in 2008-9 causing me to lose that house and another along with a vehicle and over $820k... Oh well, start over!   The view from one of my decks. Sorry, no idea where the best lemon meringue pie is around here!
