I listened on headphones. Big old school all right! Very tasteful arrangement with some nice swagger! Mix-wise, It's nice and clean! Two thoughts:first, I'd kick that lead vocal up just a hair, it's about equal with the chugging electric guitar. Secondly, the lead vocal seems panned slightly left of center? Correct, or just a headphone issue of mine? If so, the chugs of the guitar are louder in the left side as well. You should probably sit the vocal dead center if it isn't? Or perhaps shift it just a hair right, to get out of the guitar's way. I know you have guitar panned wider on both sides. I think! cool tune! -Tom

I had been listening to a CD last night then just now RMSCGuitar's song and I opened this one and almost blew my Tannoy's up! Either this is over loud by modern standards or ? But I did enjoy the classic rock vibe, well done.

Thanks for the feedback - interesting. It is louder than some stuff (mostly stuff >15 yrs old), but when I A/B'd it against most modern productions, it didn't seem louder to me. I'll check again though .. thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. btw.. Lead vocals are panned dead center and rhythm / chorus electric guitars are 75% L/R. Pre Chorus electric guitars are 55% L / R to help distinguish between parts a bit.

There is a very, very slight push of the stereo image to the left. I noticed it earlier, but I didn't think it was a big deal. My guess is a compressor may be pushing too hard on one channel. Tom's got great ears. Regards, Dan

Ooh that took me straight back to days of long hair and shades of Deep Purple with David Coverdale on vocals - sounds like it could have been a missing track off Stormbringer. Agree that the vocals could definitely come up a tad in the mix but I enjoyed that - top work - thanks for sharing. Andy

Really great stuff. The guitar solo was terrific. And you don't really sound like anybody else, which is good.

Good stuff... Classic rock vibe but with a modern rock edge. Really solid song, arrangement and performances. Having listened to Bats' song earlier with the wah leads this one fit right in. In fact, I think it has some similarities, and that is a compliment. Mix-wise I also hear a bit of that pull to the left... I wonder if it's a frequency-dependent thing. Eh, no matter, this song was @#$% rockin'.
