Perpetrators....
Tom McCaffrey:  Vocals, synth, bass, that Sonar crap
Preston "Presto" Richardson:  All that banging and the engineering of all that banging...oh yeah and some clanging too

Very solid performances and engineering.  Love the song, how true it is.  My only comment on the mix would be that I was waiting for Tony's lead to come in and split my head open and it just cracked it.   I could have used a tad more volume on the lead but that is a personal preference.  You guys are starting the year right.  The beginning guitar and drums blew me away.  Then the Chameleon comes in.  Great start to the year guys!

Great power sounding song guys.  I really like the timing between the two lead vocals  --- this is a nice effect.  The "growl" on the vocals really help make the song also.  Great performance and mix.  Love that guitar lead.

Thanks all for the listens and input! I'm thinking of readdressing the compression on the bass which might be the reason she feels a bit boxed in....again good comments!

Tom & Tony - always a pleasure!  when I saw the title, I thought, well, if this is a temporary song, I don't want to listen to it!  LOL!

guitars are great, bass is fantastic, drums are nicely done.  vox fit the song

kk boys...I reworked the tune based on the feedback with some ever-so-slight-tweaks including...

    1) backed off on the over all compression
    2) worked some snare EQ to bring her up in the mix a tad
    3) pushed Tony's lead up a tad

all very slight but I do think overall the mix is a bit stronger..

    Thanks for your input!!

Sounds good! I like the delay on the guitars slapping in between the chords. I thought the mix still sounded a little dark, but I'm not sure where it is coming from. Guitars and bass are fine, as are the vocals. Maybe just add some top end instrument like a shaker or synth or something to bring some sizzle to the mix?

Hard and heavy, just the way I like my DT. Great performances all.

The ring on the snare in the beginning has to be damped down. It is really distracting just as the tune gets started.

    The lead is killer.

This song caught me by surprise.  I've heard a few song from you guys, and this is just different enough to make me happy.  It isn't overly "bright", and has a nice, analog feel to it.  The crunch is warm, yet effective.  Good job all the way around.

    All the best,

Anyhoo, head full of stuff that it shouldn't be right now, so can't fully trust me ears but I'm not a fan of the snare sound as it stands tbh. Other than, signature DT which is always a good thing.

Tony, I love it! Great rockin' tune that made me want to pick up my guitar. Terrific guitar tones, good lyrics. Love the vocal. No crits on this one.

I love this.  Thanks for posting!  The vocal is loose enough to sound natural, and I can hear the "Frank" that Wookiee mentioned above.  I'd like to hear the drums be less "damped".  The snare maybe needs a bit more "crack"?  Everything else was awesome.  Guitar rhythm and solo, bass, "it all".  Sweet!

    Yeah, it's DT.

Cool song, it's got some attitude.   The mix is nice and wide...   I really like the vocals in each ear.

If anything, as mentioned above the snare seems a bit muddy, lacking crispness, particularly near the end when there's a roll around the toms, and I could hear more the of sticks hitting the drum heads than on the snare itself.

But that's a minor mixy thing IMO, the song is still vibin'.
