New EZDrummer v2.1 update

I happened to stumble over this while at the Toontrack site this morning. Some new features, improvements, bug fixes and one specific to SONAR users. Did the download and install without any issues.

Dear users,
EZdrummer 2.1.0 is now available from your Toontrack account. There are plenty of new features, improvements and important fixes in this release and it is therefore recommended for all users. Note that version 2.1.0 is required for EZX expansion packs released from this point forward (Q1 2015).
New in version 2.1.0:
- User MIDI, User Libraries and third-party MIDI may now be included in search results
- a Settings dialog was added, replacing several menu entries
- support for a few new effects to be used by future EZXs
Improved in version 2.1.0:
- the operation manual has been rewritten and is more detailed
- progress and error messages for MIDI database operations have been improved
- the Library Preset menu now has a dropdown arrow to more clearly indicate that it's a menu
Fixed in version 2.1.0:
- the track length dialog showed the number of bars in 4/4 instead of in current time signature
- enabling Show Web Shop MIDI can now be retried if connection fails
- switching EZXs did not properly update the powerhand and instruments filter columns
- the dialog for selecting number of outputs for EZdrummer in SONAR is now forced to be the top-most window
- tap tempo now reacts to mouse-down instead of mouse-up
- Song Structures were sometimes not read properly, resulting in an empty list in Song Creator
- undo/redo didn't preserve power hand, velocity and intensity
- it wasn't possible to add different User Libraries with the same name
- choosing 'New' in the standalone did not reset Humanize to "EZX Optimized"
- Cmd-click (Mac) / Ctrl-click (Win) on the Tempo knob in Tap2Find did not reset the tempo to default (only graphically)
- copying quantized Tap2Find MIDI from the drop zone copied unquantized notes
- various Edit Play Style bug fixes

This one is a pretty nice update. Being able to search 3rd party and user libraries is huge. The Sonar fix was one that was bugging me even though it seemed like no one else was seeing the issue. Squeaky wheel, you know.

Just a reminder, there is a menu item that checks your libraries and advises you if they are up to date.

Thanks BB! This is huge! I would have thought Toontrack would make a big announcement with this but maybe it will still come. If I wanted to use any third party midi I would start with that and drag it into the search in EZ Drummer2 if I got stuck. I have spent a good amount of time building a midi library and this makes it ALL easily usable.

    It's Bass, not Bass.
