New EastWest Play 6.0.6 and EW Spaces II 2.0.2

What's fixed and added in PLAY Software Update 6.0.6
  • Crash with convolution reverb fixed
  • Crash on win7 with multithreading fixed
  • Crash with fx section and old libraries fixed
  • Crash on PC with patches that have too many articulations fixed
  • MND updated
What's fixed and added in Spaces II Software Update 2.0.2
  • Tooltips and readouts for all parameters
  • Input fully muted in stand alone version
  • Bypass in stand alone version disabled
  • Crash fixed (Logic and Live)

Known issues:
  • There is a latency in Pro Tools with Spaces II in Low CPU mode and host bypass active. Use plug in bypass as workaround and note that Zero latency mode is on by default!

Made the same mistake until I remembered that v6 is a paid update unless you either subscribe to CC or purchase the latest vocal libraries.

I got v6 with that sale they had (never pay full price).  So far for me it's not exactly been a win.  All the bugs v5 had are still there.  The changes they made to how they stream and support hard drives is broken depending on your hardware.  I tried working with them to get them to actually fix it but in the end they admitted it was broken but seemed to have no interest in actually fixing it.  Wasted a ton of time for nothing.  I think the wall between their support and their actual programmers is impenetrable.

V6 is nicer than v5 if you have a lot of instruments (like with their Cloud sub), but if you have just a small handful of libraries I'm not sure it's a big win.
