CJ, CW PM'd me last week with the Alpha release (it's only 128K!, dang! with my 300 Baud dialup that will take forever!). I'm sorry you didn't get it too.

a detailed description of all the new features in Sonar 8 Producer OK, CJ. Only one feature, and just this one time, because you're my 'neighbor'. And you're a guitarist. The Step Sequencer has been enhanced to provide up to 960 Steps for each of the the nearly 100 Beats. And, yes: This is a real screenshot from SONAR, without any image manipulation.

Dan, I just find it funny about the whole conspiracy theory of what's in it and what's not. Is it always this bad when they are near to releasing something? this is my first version so I wait and see, like everything else I own.. I'm sure say a week or a few days before they drop big hints, well props do with reason so maybe the same with cake? I don't worry about till things till they are actually released and I can buy them. As release dates are sometimes misleading.. or the odd time the product spec... the infamous side chaining another product promised and didn't deliver till LONG after it was updated (no guessing who that was.. think dongle.lol)

your a very bad man, B-rock... No, no. I assure you that this is legitimate, CJ. I swear on a stack of SoundBlaster cards. I've been putting together a .pdf of Stupid Step Sequencer Tricks for S7, and this is one of them. Edit: Link added to finished .pdf.

I swear on a stack of SoundBlaster cards. Enough said. your telling the truth.... I dont use midi that often and when i do, its just Ezdrummer or a soft synth that i trigger from my keys or my v-drums, so i believed you when you posted that screen shot. I think i opened the step sequencer 2 times... ![](http://forum.cakewalk.com/upfiles/smiley/s4.gif) Ill teach you guitar and you can teach me stupid step sequencer tricks... ![](http://forum.cakewalk.com/upfiles/smiley/s3.gif) Cj

ORIGINAL: Fog Dan, I just find it funny about the whole conspiracy theory of what's in it and what's not. Is it always this bad when they are near to releasing something? No... ...usually it's worse. The natives haven't even started to get riled up yet. ...but I did hear that there's going to be an Audio Snap extension that will make Obama's...cadence sound...almost....."normal".

Ill teach you guitar and you can teach me stupid step sequencer tricks... I've never used it for drums, either. But you're going to have to up the ante on the guitar lessons, though. ![](http://forum.cakewalk.com/upfiles/smiley/s4.gif) I've been playing for ... I don't even want to tell you how many decades.

I heard a rumor that everything is going to work perfect, no bugs and they are going to release it as 8.5 because they made it absolutely bug proof before they release it, and they put in extra time to make every third party plug will work with it because it has a built in plug studier that tweaks sonars code on the spot and adds parts to it that cover any new plug in it encounters Oooh i cant wait!!! Oh oh and guess what, you will be able to arm and do ANYTHING while the project is playing, so it will work in loop just like Abelton Live~!!!
Asus P8Z77-V LE PLUS Motherboard i7 3770k CPU 32 gigs RAM Presonus AudioBox iTwo Windows 10 64 bit, SONAR PLATINUM 64 bit Lots of plugins and softsynths and one shot samples, loops Gauge ECM-87, MCA SP-1, Alesis AM51 Presonus Eureka Mackie HR824's and matching subwoofer
