Well done Pickles!!! Liz's voice is a perfect fit for this song and IMO much better than the original. Not sure if this is just my h-phones, but the bass drum on the chorus came across a bit hot and the guitar a bit in the background. Of course, everything else sounded very good/balanced/clean and made me Fuzzy!!

Brave chaps and chapess this song has particular things for me but that is another story. Nicely done, I agree with Mesh the guitar could come up a bit and perhaps a little more breathiness on the vocal would be nice icing on the cake or is that spice in the pickle.

I liked Cyndi Lauper's "over the top" version. I like this one too, because the reggae-isms are a cool add and Liz has a voice that's extremely easy on the ears! I might bring the guitar lead up or thicken it somehow 1:46 just a thought, more balls on that maybe? I love the mix, all the little elements are very clearly audible and no mud. Bass is super controlled and present! If we have a Time After Time contest, I'd like dibs on the Icelandic Death Metal version. cheers, -Tom

I listened one version of this great song a little earlier tonight. Enjoyable to listen to another well done version. Excellent vocals and playing. Good record, mix and sounds.

I could do the UK black metal entrant. Anyhow this sounds very clean, all is well played and recorded. however it sounds like it was recorded on 2 continents in 3 separate studios, there's a slight lack of energy or...that je-ne-sais-quoi. especially in the vocals, they are really nice but a bit polite, i want some ...ballsiness.

My studio is a continent in my mind. So when I am in my studio, I am in continent. If you get my drift. Sorry for the yucks, it's still a very nicely recorded version of this song . . .

Daryl and FP'ers, Sterling cover of a pop classic. I love the reggae feel on the intro, refrain, and breaks. Great vocal. Strong contributions by James and Baps. Great stuff. Bert

Very nice version. I love the fact that the reggae flavour is understated - too much and it would have sounded gimmicky, but I think you got it just right. Is it just me or, or is the lead vocal distorting slightly in places? No-one else has commented so maybe I need to check my headphones (or my ears). AMB

Another great cover by the Picky Fizzles! Lovely guitar/piano sound on this. Can't say anything about the bass yet, listened on laptop speakers. This song fits Liz singing perfectly. Maybe the background singing is sticking out a bit, I have to listen on my other speakers later. Nice cool vibe with the reggae style. Liked this version a lot! Edit: I have listened on my other computer now. The bass is great. Forget what I said about the bg vox, it sits perfectly in the mix. Great work everybody!
