New Forum Location for Themes?
Now that we have a Theme editor, there are a LOT of themes being generated (Which is GREAT!). It would be nice to have a single place to look at them and download them instead of having to wade through the SONAR section or the Software section...

I'd second that for sure, (not being a very superficial person, LOL).

It's not just themes, but all the questions about the themes, how to use the editor. Although it's a separate from sonar, it's also part of it. Software with all third party discussions doesn't seem quite the right place for it

Actually I was thinking about that myself. I think it would be a useful forum.

Sorry Billy Buck did not see feature request...Didn't think to look there since it isn't a feature for SONAR, but a Forum request. At any rate I voted for it!

Starting to see both the restrictions of modifying PNGs and the freedom with creating them from scratch, has got me looking at information on designing a Gui and button design. It's makes looking at any gui a different experience. What do I like, how could I incorporate that, etc. Which can radically change the feel of Sonar beyond just colours. Icon designs could be created and shared. It's opened a big topic.

Mudgel created it with the help of Karyn and Elfin volunteered to take it over. I think that sticky is a very good resource. What I think the idea here is to have a theme forum not just to host themes but to discuss them too. At present themes and theme related questions are in the Sonar forum in large numbers. Over time that may increase. Plus it would take the burden off one member having constantly to update a sticky.

I think all the hard work folks have been putting in to the themes deserves its own home (sub forum). I also think as more and more threads accumulate, there will be people looking for help with sonar related issues and they will begin to find it a minor irritation thumbing through thread after thread of custom themes. myself, it doesn't bother me. its only a click.

I like the idea of placing finished themes in the SONAR Resources zone, and having a separate forum for discussion/questions/tips/etc.

I like that idea myself. I think its a great idea. As long as a member is not required to manage the resources zone. I'm not opposed to members doing that just that it shouldn't have to be a member. I think its a big burden. The forum dedicated to help and discussion about themes is also a great idea.
