New Heavy Groove Song
Hey guys, Finished up another track with Josh Whitside. I put the music for this one together a few years ago. Well it has vocals now & a pinch more guitar solo. It was pretty good with music alone, but Josh really added some life to it. http://soundclick.com/share.cfm?id=10424618

Listening through ATH M50's the rythym guitar sounds great. It sounds deep and throaty with nice definition. It may be a subjective thing but I'm getting clean low end power from it and it rocks IMO. I think the left wah could beef up a tid bit IMO but sounds great on the otherside of the straight more compressed guitar. Not too much because I like it when the cool solo comes in through them with some more volume. The vocal effect that's reminiscent of Repentance from Dream theatre is excellent. Fits right in. I think a little extra tail on the vox effect at the end would sound better but just an opinion. Josh's vox sound great although I only listened once and I tend to listen for music 1st. Excellent tune guys.

nice track. I might have liked the vocals up just a tad. But other than that good job.

Thanks for listening, The vocals come through loud clear for me. I suppose a bump in volume wouldn't hurt though.

This is a really cool tune Black_Haus, great job! The wide field rock'n guitar sound is so cool! I also like the talk over parts (e.g. @ 3:16 to 3:35). And I think that talk over level is perfect. I can relate to a previous comment about pushing the vocal melody level up a bit; but I also like the balance achieved in this version because I like the non-vocal parts so much. Just for fun I might push up a little and tightly at 65 to 70Hz on the kick drum, just to see what a little more punch in the chest affect might sound like in this tune. I went to add you to my favorites and got a message you were already in my favorites, so obviously I enjoy your tunes a lot. Thanks.

Nice metal sound to this. You seem to have the bass placed well. Something I struggle with. Which daw platform was this done on, because I saw this on another site. It's comfusing!

Thanks Scotty & MGH rrmpub: Appreciate the Soundclick add and taking the time to listen. Glad you liked it. Thatsastrat: I originially did this song in Guitar Tracks Pro 3 (Guitars, Bass & Drums). I imported it into Presonus Studio One added the vocals, the second guitar solo & final mixing.

The vocals are fine at the beginning, but somehow it sounded the volume was reduced as the song went on. Josh can really sing! Otherwise it is a great track with a mid tempo beat.

Vehchung, I noticed that too. It was just the way he sang it. I guess I could bring up the verse's a bit to even it out but it sounded pretty good so I left it. Thanks for listiening, Clean ; Thanks for listening!
