New Hornet Analogstage
http://www.hornetplugins....ogo_hornet_plugins.png" /> View this email onlineHi, Saverio from HoRNet Plugins here, I'm writing because we have just released the new AnalogStage, a plugin designed to give the analog vibe to your digital mixes. AnalogStage emulates the sound of three classic analog technologies: operational amplifier, transistor and tube. We also added two analog VU meters, our auto gain technology and an "age" slider to simulate the aging of condensers inside the console. http://www.hornetplugins....g-stage-screenshot.png" /> This new plugin is available for just 17.99 Euro, I invite you to download the demo and try it out, it's a little bigger than our other plugins but we wanted a smooth VU meter movement so we used high res graphics. Download it from: http://www.hornetplugins.com/plugins/hornet-analogstage/Thank you Saverio Vigni hornetplugins.com

I was just looking at this as you posted :) It is interesting and I like my hornet plugins. I just finished up a project and I deliberately went for a vintage (as in dynamic) vibe. I tried the only emulators I had which were the Ozone 5 and 4 exciters, mostly the tube. I ended up not using either. I've also heard from these forums, very experienced professionals somewhat recommend against them, even if used judiciously, so I am cautious. However, if they really did something nice... So I hope this thread blossoms into further thoughts on the matter...like Mulder, I want to believe :)

I use Harrison Mixbus for this...or of course the console emulation in Sonar.

I'm still using 8.5 for my current project (about another 6 songs), I have X2 installed but I also have X3 and will install that after I am done (I hope), so I don't have the console emulator at my finger tips right now... I am going to look now at the Harrison Mixbus tho as a potential candidate :) Thanks for the tip, oops Skullie just called, gotta go...
