New: I worked some with the snare to make the ghost hits be better. changed the sound on them and increased the velocity by 8. And the guitars are louder.

New: Changed a hit that was snare that should have been a cymbal hit, so now it is a cymbal and all works fine.

I've played all and arranged it all, like the producer i am (trying to be). Hope to get the vocals soon. And i hope they will be more in the black metal style. Then i have to record guitar melody. But I'll wait til i get the tracks.

Enjoyed hearing this very much!!! Although not really what I normally listen to or play. I must say being someone who doesn't listen to this style of music that the first thing that comes to mind would be Christmas type of music, or that is a Dark Christmas night that is very cold anxiously awaiting the coming day "Which is something I like about Christmas Holidays". Probably not relevant to replying, but it's the only way I knew how to describe my impressions. 
 
Music is very stellar!!! 

Please don't take anything I have said the wrong way, I mean everything as a compliment here. 
 
Enjoyed hearing this very much, as for the mix, like I said not really my style, but maybe a bit more bite on the distortion for the guitar to bring it out, or Mid's on the guitar if you are using VST's. 
 
Enjoyed hearing this one very much, I'm no pro, and CAN'T DO BETTER, so take my advice only as someone who plays but is listening.

This is pretty cool! I like the composition.
 
Just a little more reverb on that intro piano wouldn't be out of place I think. I think the mix sounds great, nicely separated. Possibly look at the hi-hats, which hit all the time - they are a little flangey. They are nicely panned.
 
Drums are also a standout for me. Are they vst or real?

WOW MAN!!!! Version 3 sounds so much better, the clarity sounds great to my ears. 
 
Not sure if I've mentioned it but I really like the music/song a lot also! I'm old, so it reminds me of the band Yes in a few of their tunes, and that's mean in a good way where compliments go. Very progressive on the song. 
 
I'm no mixmaster, but what you got going on with Version 3 sounds Awesome to my ears man!!!!

I really liked that - it does have a sort of "dark Christmas holiday" feel to it, almost sound-track like to an extent.   About the only change I might suggest is varying the velocity on the piano arps, particularly when they're played alone, for more "feel".    Otherwise I look forward to hearing the vocal stylings of Zargg.

i dont think there is much to do on the vocal with editing and so on. its better pure than plastic.

I wouldn't change them either.   I can't understand a word, but that didn't matter - the vocals and music together really hold that slightly dark, Nordic vibe.

reminds me of the movie 'trollhunter', one of my favorite flix....
and i bought the dvd, and never set it on 'english' setting,
i like to hear them speak in their native language, and just read the sub titles.
 
so, the lyric, i can't make out a single word in english (!) but i dig it all the same!

i like your project and how it is taking hymns and metalising them, the production is fine now. you're introducing some good dynamics but not much tempo variation which would be the next step to keep the ear interested. if you want some BM vox let me know!
