Love that mid-section shift into the Spanish flavor and nice touch with that walking bass-line as it went back into the Main!!

Beautiful guitar tone, Daryl. Subtle bass. And I loved the drums, in particular the added percussion. For me it evoked an Al Stewart /Year of the Cat vibe, but better. Great job

No, I changed this quite awhile ago before you offerend to work on it.  I just adjusted the mid-range EQ.

I liked your drums, and I would still like to see something, I just felt the rhythm of the tune sort of "rolls" which to my ear contrasted the straight beat of the drums.  The rhythm really has a Latin flair (opening measures).  In fact, before I decided on the name I just called it "Latin Thing".   I thought I might still get something from you.  I just remembered you asked for a new track, I have that and I will send it to you if you still want.

I've been trying to analyze why nearly eveyone objects to my drum tracks

There are two issues:  1 - EQ and compression issues.  These are totally understandable given my poor hearing.  It's really hard for me to hear high frequencies and I need all the help I can get there.

2.  As I reviewed a number of my tunes that people don't like the drums for (and please understand I don't take offense in any way and accept all crits as contstructive) it seems that a lot of people here really prefer a driving slaming rock motif.  I write very few hard driving rock songs.  As most of you know I a big fan of congas and other percussion.  Many of my tunes have a bit of Latin, swing, triplet, etc.  Sometimes I'm not sure if my drum tracks really suck that bad or if they're just "not rock and roll".  I like interesting rhythm and I have a life long history of not caring if a song is "danceable", in fact I perfer songs you can't dance to   Many of my tunes seem at odd with a straight 1234 beat.  All that being said, I really am drum challenged as far as how all the pieces fit together, but hopefully I'm learning.  Just some thoughts.

Thanks all for the postive comments on my tone.  As a guitar player, thats right up there with the best compliments  you can get.   I cling to my tone as I will never be really fast!

I'll see if my other music software has any Latin drums that I can use , as I was saying before Addictive Drums doesn't have any latin patterns and fills to work with only Jazz, Pop Rock , Hard Rock and Funk .

Maybe I can get to it at the beginning of next week , this week-end I'm working on my own new song I sent to you to checkout that sample .
