this is tight bro. shades of Opeth in the transitions too.  the mix seems a bit 'treble-y' maybe you can boost some of the low-mids and lows and use a limiter to keep them from overtaking mix.  i may know a singer who might be into something like this i'll let you know if i can find him

That's one heck of a drum solo.  I've been hearing a number of these, lately, and this is one of the better ones.  The guitars are appropriately crunchy, the drums insanely driving, but the vocals are too loud. lol

    All the best,

@ABeautifulVirus - Thanks a lot man. Yea, it hasn't been mastered at all.  I'll keep what you said in mind about the Treble.  And if you know someone that might be interested that would be great.

@Lynn - Thank you for your gracious comments.  I know you are on this forum often, and listen to a lot of music, so they really do mean a lot.  Haha....yea so loud you cant even hear them.

@Warrenlee -  Thanks bud!  I really appreciate it.  Yea I think I could live with Halford on vox....lol.

Thank you all again for taking the time to listen,
    MetalTeK

hey dude gotta say i heard nothing which reminded me of Opeth, but certainly FF is a good starting point, though not as heavy. Some tight riffing and drum programming is great. The actual sound is quite like early thrash records, which i like, though clearly you'd want a bigger sound for a release. In fact this is overall a thrash metal song mate! no prob with that. i like! oh, and if you don't know 'em, check out a UK band called Xerath, i think they may be just up your street!

@mgh - Thanks for taking time to listen and reply.  Yea, I've never really heard too much Opeth, but I assumed he was referring to the Keys in the song.  As far as the bigger sound, yea, I know what you mean.  But it hasn't been mastered at all.  I just mixed it and bounced it down with a limiter.  So I'm glad you liked it, that means a lot.

Never heard of Xerath.....I'll definitely give them a listen.  Thanks!

@ABeautifulVirus - A singer in the area would be nice, but yea, at this point, I'm just looking for someone to lay tracks down.  Of course I would have to hear them first.  But that doesn't always help....lol.

I've had a couple people already that sounded Great with "their" music, but when I tried to mix in their vox with my stuff, it just didn't blend very well.

I'm thinking I kinda got my heart set on a woman for vocals.  But I'd love to hear him if you have a link.

Man that was some good stuff, exceptionally tight just how it should be , solid playing .
try running that through the "linear compressor" LP64 effect ... it adds some serious size to metal sounds

It would be cool to collab on some tracks !
