New Mix module

Something I've not seen anyone mention, and isn't mentioned in the update information, is that Ipswitch has a redesigned mix module in the control bar. It's a bit of a weird one; like they've "un-designed" it; made it a bit less at-a-glance readable. Anyone else noticed this?

yeah, seen it - and wondered if I missed the documentation ...

They must have needed a place to put the "2x" i.e. "Upsample on Render" button ...

I think it just takes getting used to, looks OK even at medium size and works fine (indicators lighting when pushing buttons on the control surface)

Also something that didn't get mentioned much. There is really new functionality there - the upsample on render button is global and turns on/off upsampling for any plugins that have been marked as requiring it.
This makes it easy to turn on/off without having to find the plugin and disable it.

Yes, I noticed that, and it's a welcome addition. But I think the old layout design was better, with logical grouping of buttons (eg: Dim Solo being explicitly related to Solo, stuff like that). Not a huge issue, of course, but even small backward steps make unicorns die and rainbows turn grey.

Hey, that's really cool!! I didn't know about it, or I would have put it in the eZine. I'll include it next month for anyone who missed this thread.
